Holiday Season

In less than 10 days, it will be Holiday Season. While you are drowning over the gift list items for your friends and family, don’t lose focus on what to buy for yourself. There are the cocktail parties, family gatherings and festive dinners that you need to be well prepared. Are you sick of the plain little black dress or long halter gowns? Here are a few event outfits with a twist for you to be inspired this season.

Styling Tips for Sassy LBD: The LBD is always a back up option. In this case, try it with a sassy attitude to make it a first prior piece. Look for different textures and subtle prints with a 60’s silhouette. If you are not comfortable with short length dresses, try wearing black tights. This will help you to be less cautious about getting over exposed.

Styling Tips for Printed Statement: Rule number one for printed dresses; make sure the print suits you. Once you feel comfortable in the dress, try accessorizing your look with bronze, gold or any metallic items. Metallic colors can enhance a day dress to an evening outfit.

Styling Tips for Doll It Up: If you are a fan of collars and defined waistline, this style will be a right fit for you. Simply make the collar as your necklace and match it with cocktail rings. Don’t forget to add a textured clutch for a sophisticated touch.

Styling Tips for Classic: This is one of my favorite looks at all times. It will never go wrong for various events. Since this outfit will enhance your natural beauty within out. Key point is to keep everything modern and clean in terms of silhouette, hair and accessories. A perfect match for all back ponytail are dangled earrings.

Layering Textures

Have you ever thought of mixing different textures for layering? Veronica at will give you some styling tips on how to mix and match from soft silk to bling sequins for 4 various occasions!

On Veronica: Tweed Zip Front Jacket

Styling Tip 1: Denim is an all time classic piece to mix and match with, it’s a must have piece for your wardrobe! By layering sequins and Swarovski crystals to your outfit, it instantly enhances a glamorous vibe. Don’t forget your ankle boots and fringe bag accessories for the Bohemian touch.

Styling Tip 2: Make your poncho and printed jeans the centerpieces; therefore match it with something simple and comfortable underneath. Try layering it with T Jumper and tank top instead of 1 and let a hint of layering show along your collar. The printed jeans are a fun twist compared to plain jeans or legging.

Styling Tip 3: Pick a cardigan that is the same length as your outwear. This will make a clean proportion to your total look. Also, keep your hemlines in check! If the dress is a bit short, try adding a light layer underneath to create a longer illusion.

As shown: Boucle Jacket Black, Floral Lace Cardigan, Satin-Back Crepe Shift Dress, Scallop Lace Dress Black.

Styling Tip 4: Play around with light and heavy textures this autumn. For beginners, pick colors that are in the same tones to contrast with. Example: a creamy yellow with mustard yellow. If you are petit size, I recommend high waist bottoms to elongate your lower body. You can also wear your long as a cape for a chic look.
